Candy Tuft

The Candy Tuft grows in all regions of Texas.The flowers scientific  name  is  Ibris  Umbellata ,and its classification is Brassicacede. Its blooming season is June to September.The petal colors are  white ice,pink,or lilac pink.Its height of the flower is 12 to 18 inches.Candy Tufts grow in gravelly,well drained soil,and does not tolerate damp soil.It only grows in full sun.The  seeds are extreamly small.It takes 20 to 30 days for it to bloomI got this picture from wild flowers in bloom.
